Well, I did. But instead of setting up a haunted house and a real camera, I used AI tools, specifically, ChatGPT and Veo 3, to generate a paranormal short that looks eerily real.
Here’s exactly how I did it, so you can do the same.

Brainstorming the Concept with ChatGPT
I started by opening ChatGPT and describing the visual I had in mind. Here’s what I wrote:
“I want to make an AI video of a ghost sighting caught on CCTV. The camera angle should look like a surveillance cam in the corner of an HDB bedroom. The ghost should barely be visible and slowly fade out of frame.”
ChatGPT helped refine that into a polished, cinematic video prompt tailored for Veo 3
Final Prompt I Used
A grainy, low-resolution black-and-white surveillance-style video from a fixed ceiling corner angle, mimicking silent security footage.
